Meet Our Team

Mark Scarlatelli

Mr. Scarlatelli has over two decades of experience in planning,  directing, and managing major design/build, multi-use construction and  renovation projects including demolition, site preparation,  underground infrastructure, modernization and site beautification. He has specialized in public works, private commercial and residential projects, the preservation and restoration of buildings on the National Historical Registry as well as LEED certified buildings. From fixing smoke detectors to building multi-million, state-of-the-art fire stations he has been responsible for over $100 million in construction. Mr. Scarlatelli is a member of the Association of General Contractors.

He was ranked a Top Specialty Contractor out of 10,000 licensed contractors in the State, by California Construction Magazine, and is the recipient of the prestigious Fannie Mae Gold Hammer Award.

Mr. Scarlatelli remains sensitive to the environment, for whom 'Going Green' is much more than an empty slogan. His companies have adopted green practices in both the construction and renovation fields.

He is commited to giving back to the communities he serves including the REOMAC Scholorship Program. He has also served on the national Board of REOMAC and has been recognized by 'Who's Who in America'  for leadership and achievement in the industry.

Linda Mitton
Director of Operations

As a third generation contractor, Linda Mitton was surrounded by the Construction industry where her Father excelled in various operations for fifty years. Having the qualities of unparalleled vision, determination, and exceptional business ethics instilled in her at an early age has led to her successful corporate climb at Avatar Property Services.

Ms. Mitton began her professional career at Alta Mira Realty where she gained a tremendous amount of experience in real estate, sales, marketing and public relations. Through her time there she developed the set of skills necessary for a woman owned business to thrive in a predominantly male industry.

Since 2009, Ms. Mitton has served as the Director of Operations for Avatar where her corporate monitoring has continued to ensure that over 300 REO properties monthly are completed in a timely manner and to premium industry standards. As the head of customer relations, her charisma and stellar professionalism has enabled her to build strong relationships with our clients that have served to be mutually beneficial for both parties.

Ms. Mitton has enabled Avatar to be recognized as a minority diversified corporation. She has successfully pursued certifications with several organizations including the Office of Minority and Women Inclusion (OMWI), the Small Business Administration Woman Owned Business (SBA), the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA).

Pam Gattoni
Chief Financial Officer

Pamela Gattoni has an extensive business administration and financial background.  She has 8 years experience as Controller in the Construction Industry specializing in public works, private, commercial and residential projects.  Her primary responsibilities include financial reporting, tax projections, and monthly auditing.  She directly supervises the accounting staff monitoring all general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable, job costing, and payroll.  Pam has been a part of a team that creates policies and procedures to identify, resolve and document accounting issues. These procedures ensure that the project closing processes are more efficient and accurate.  She currently reports to the President on all matters pertaining to finance and ensures that Avatar adheres to budgets.

Her prior experience was Controller, Office Management,  Accounts Receivable, Inventory Control and Purchasing for Century Wheel and Rim (a leading warehouse distributor for truck and trailer parks), where she was employed for 27 years.  This experience, her loyalty and her diversified financial background has led her to become an integral part of the Avatar management team.
